Laichwiltach Family Life Society will offer another session of its Blade Runner job readiness program starting Sept 10. The program gives First Nations youth ages 18 to 30 the skills to seek and obtain employment and the necessary life skills to compete in the work force.

The UBC Strathcona Family Medicine Residency Program offers a First Nation Cultural component for new doctors and KDC Health is excited to be a “host family” with this project. The key function is to bridge the gaps for First Nation people through collaborative partnerships to educate and support medical doctors while they navigate and understand aspects of First Nation Health.

A familiar face has re-joined KDC Health - this time as Medical Office Assistant. Dianna Smith says she believes her position is "a giant step in the right direction for holistic health and healing for our Member Nations." Read more about her here...
