We have ANOTHER NEW PROGRAM!
“Cozy Crafts,” Every second Monday evening throughout the Winter months we will meet at the “Back Room” of the BIG House from 6:00 to 8:00pm to do our crafts together and learn from each other. It will be SO COZY! Your Elder’s worker will pick you up and drop you off at home after, safe and sound. Call to sign up if you want a ride, if you don’t want a ride just show up! NO COZY CRAFTS on November 12 as it is a stat holiday.
The Elders BINGO fundraiser this Month was a huge success! Many thanks to all of you community members and Elders who worked so hard to support us, and who donated such great items for door prizes. We had a ton of fun!
Our monthly Community Movie Night put on by the Elders in partnership with KDC will be at 7:00pm Nov.19 at the Thunderbird Hall. Doors open at 6:30
Make sure your name is on the list for the bus for the Island-Wide Luncheon on Nov. 28th, seats on the bus are first come – first serve! We will be staying over-night in Nanaimo, shopping the next day and stopping in Ladysmith on the way back to see the Christmas light display!
Elder’s Planning Meeting will be held on Nov. 14, with a lovely lunch as always.
Keep Saturday Nov. 17 open to attend the annual Elder’s Christmas Bazaar and have your picture taken with Santa. There will be an array of vendors from all over and tons of prizes AND chair massage! We can always use help setting up the day before and help cleaning up after, “wink wink.” Remember Santa’s watching!
