The Executive Director of Greenways Land Trust, Cynthia Bendickson, will lead an interpretive walk in the estuary where some amazing wildflowers grow. The middle of July is a great time to take a walk on the wild side of Baikie Island and let nature spoil your eyes with some colorful beauty. This is a great opportunity to learn more about plant identification and Greenways’ activities on Baikie Island.
As the wild side will be a little muddy, please wear gum boots! Make sure to leave some room for a second breakfast as sponsor Daves’ Bakery will again supply participants with some of their delicious treats.
This event is free for Greenways members, $10 for non-members. Membership is $20 per individual, $30 per family. Call 250-287-3785 or contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information. Meet at the Baikie Island parking lot (end of Robinson Rd.)
