Thunderbird Fishing Derby Lands Another Success

Tribal Canoe families weren’t the only ones in the water off Tyee Spit last weekend. The Thunderbird RV Park and Resort hosted a Salmon-Cod Fishing Derby – its 21st. The derby featured three days of fishing and then a salmon BBQ feast on Sunday evening with lots of prizes donated by local businesses and a performance by the Wei Wai Kum Dancers.
