Notice is hereby given that nominations for THREE DIRECTORS for the Board of Directors of WEIWAIKUM GENERAL PARTNER LTD. must be submitted by 4:00 p.m. on April 13, 2018. The election is to fill THREE positions on the Board of Directors and those individuals will serve on the board until April 1, 2021.
Any two band members age 18 years or over may nominate a candidate for director. The nomination forms are attached and are to be completed as follows:
1. Two band members must complete the attached Nomination Form filling in the name of the Candidate they are nominating and both band members must print their names and fill in their band numbers and sign the Nomination Form. The Candidate nominated must be informed that they have been nominated by the two band members.
2. The candidate must complete the attached Candidate (Nominee) Certification and attach a written summary of his or her background and qualifications to the Candidate Certification form. All completed forms must be hand delivered or mailed to and received at 1400 Drake Road, Campbell River, B.C. V9W 7K6 by 4:00 p.m. on APRIL 13, 2018 (the KDC Health Office).
The Electoral Officer, Blair Mackenzie will prepare ballots for those nominated and Voting for on reserve members will take place at the KDC Health Office – Youth and Elders room, 1400 Drake Road, Campbell River, B.C. on June 8, 2018. Ballots will be mailed to off-reserve band members and must be returned to the Electoral Officer on or before June 8, 2018.
The List of Electors is posted at the Campbell River Band office administration building, located at 1650 Old Spit Road, Campbell River, B.C. V9W 3E8.
