Youth Activities Aug. 20 – 24

Youth activities this week include berry picking, a workshop on canning food, outdoor hockey, cooking bannock and a trip to McIvor Lake! Registrations are also open for a week of day trips to Strathcona Park for youth ages nine and older.

August 20: Berry picking day
Max. 8 kids
Ages: 7 -12 – 10 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Drop-off/ Pick-up: Thunderbird Hall
Pack: Sunscreen, Lunch, Footwear suitable for trails

August 21: Canning/ Hall Activites
Max. 14 kids
Ages: 7-15 – 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Drop-off/ Pick-up: Thunderbird Hall
Pack: Lunch

August 22: Outdoor Hockey (split age groups)
No sign-up
Ages: 7-11 – 9:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.
Note: Lunch will be provided
Drop-off/ Pick-up: Tyee Spit Playground

August 23: Cooking Bannock
Max. 14 kids
Ages: 7-15 – 12 noon -3 p.m.
Drop-off/ Pick-up: Thunderbird Hall

August 24: McIvor Lake
Max. 12 kids
Ages: 7-15 – 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Drop-off/ Pick-up: Thunderbird Hall
Pack: Sunscreen, towel, bathing suit, beach toys
Lunch will be provided

We are excited to announce a series of day trips to Strathcona Park Lodge will take place this year! Sign-up is now open for ages nine and up!
