Chief & Council
The Wei Wai Kum First Nation Council is responsible for serving the community through strong, transparent, and accountable leadership. The Council consists of eight members: the Chief and seven Councilors. Together, Chief and Council oversee the delivery of effective programs, businesses, and services while upholding and respecting the Nation’s culture and traditions.
Council members serve four-year terms and are elected on a staggered basis, with four members elected every two years to ensure continuity in leadership.
