Chief & Council
The role of the Wei Wai Kum First Nation Council is to serve the community through strong, transparent and accountable leadership. Council is made up of eight members: the Chief and seven Councilors. Chief and Council work to deliver effective and efficient programs, businesses and services while respecting our Nation’s culture and traditions.
Council members serve four-year terms. They are elected on a staggered basis, i.e., four are elected every two years.
